MAT 2019 Result to be Declared on Feb 28 @aima.in: All India Management Association (AIMA) will be releasing the MAT 2019 results on February 28, 2019. Candidates can check their results by logging in the official website of AIMA.
This year the examination was conducted in three phases divided on February 17, 23 and 24 respectively.
As per the official notification released by AIMA, the score of MAT examination 2019 will be released on the website of AIMA on February 28. As the exam got over on the 24th of February 2019, the conducting body takes an approximate of 5 to 10 days to finalize the result.
Students who will qualify the examination are eligible for seeking admission in top management institutes across the country that accept the MAT scores.
How to Check the MAT 2019 Results?
All candidates who attempted the examination can check their results by visiting the official website of AIMA. The candidates will have to enter their login credentials including registration number and roll number as provided by the AIMA. However, the exam conducting body will not release the exam results on the login page of the candidate which is currently available at the website. For this, the candidate will have to click on a separate link activated by the official website for MAT Feb Result.
Changes in the MAT 2019 Result
Unlike previous years, the MAT result scorecard will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates. , and the candidates are now required to download the scorecard online by clicking on the MAT Feb Results link published online. Also, aspirants can also use the SMS service to get their final MAT result score.
As per the current statistics, over 279 management institutes across different parts of the country accept the MAT scores for rendering admission to the candidates. After the release of the result in February, students can further go on to participate in the admission process in any of the management institutes that accept the MAT February scores.
Scoring Method
The MAT 2019 Result will comprise of essential details including the aspirant’s roll number, name and the overall percentile in each section along with mentioning the composite score. However, the general awareness score is not calculated and taken into consideration when evaluating the final result. The raw scores for each candidate are calculated out of 160. However, as per the AIMA scales, the score in each mark will carry a total weight-age of 5. Thus, the composite score of candidates will range from 199 to 801.
Selection Process of MAT 2019
Once the AIMA has released the result, they will send the scores to the institutes which are selected by the candidates. Based on the score and cut off availed by the students, the B-schools will send an intimation to the candidates on their registered email-ID intimating them about the next round of selection process. The admission process will include Written Ability Test, Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview. Candidates must visit the official website of each institute to know about the exact process and the schedule.
Applying for Colleges
In case the candidate is not selected in any particular college, they can go on to apply for the admission by visiting the official college website and fill the application form.
MAT May Session
For students who are not selected in the MAT Feb Session and wish to improve their scores can apply for the MAT May session. The registration process for which will begin in the first week of March 2019.
