Member Parliament Manish Tewari inaugurates CCTV Surveillance System in Sector 41A under MPLAD Scheme: Sh. Manish Tewari, Member Parliament, Chandigarh today inaugurated CCTV cameras installed under the MPLAD Scheme in Sector 41 A, Chandigarh in the presence of Area Councillor Sh. Hardeep Singh Buterla, senior officers of MCC, and prominent residents of the area.

Under this project, 22 high-resolution CCTV cameras have been strategically installed at various points in the locality to monitor the entry and exit of people and enhance overall safety. The system is supported by 5 Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) at different locations to ensure continuous and reliable surveillance. The project has been executed at an estimated cost of ₹5 lakh.

While sharing about the service rendered for the area residents, Sh. Hardeep Singh Buterla said that the initiative is aimed at improving public safety, deterring illegal activities, and aiding authorities in maintaining law and order. The cameras will also assist in better traffic management and timely response to any untoward incidents.

Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Manish Tewari emphasized the importance of modern security infrastructure in residential areas and assured continued support for development works. Local residents appreciated the efforts of the MP, area councillor, and MCC in strengthening the safety framework of their neighborhood.
