NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike, Animal Husbandry Minister Punjab today directed all the concerned departments to generate their all resources to make National livestock championship-2015 a grand success. While holding a review meeting to check the arrangements for this championship, the Minister said that the livestock farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal, Gujrat and many other states would participate.
The Minister also issued directions for the department to make boarding and loading for the livestock farmers of other states. Dr. G. Vajralingam Financial Commissioner Animal Husbandry apprised the Minister that all the necessary arrangements for the Progressive Punjab Livestock Expo-2015 have been completed. He said that this expo would be organised in collaboration with PHD Chamber and prizes worth Rs. 1.25 crore would be conferred to the winners.
He further said that this is the 6th National Livestock Championship in a row organised by the Punjab Government. He said that in this championship be held from January 8 to 12, 2015 at Sri Mukatsar Sahib, Many renowned companies and institutions would put up exhibitions and information stalls. He said that apart from the exhibitions, Seminars would also be conducted all along the championship. He said that scholars and subject experts would deliver lectures in these seminars. Fun & frolic and other cultural events would also be arranged for the entertainment of visiting livestock farmers and general public.

Sood Director Fisheries, Capt. Karnail Singh ADC Mukatsar, NPS Sandhu SP Mukatsar, RS Sachdeva co-chairman PHD Chamber and Dalip Sharma Director PHD Chamber.
