125 children have been immunized last night with Polio drops by the Night Vigil teams from 9 pm – 11 pm under the innovative project “TAARE ZAMEEN PAR” in Chandigarh on National Immunization Day Pulse Polio Campaign on first day.
6 teams were constituted to immunize those children who are accompanied by the parents during the day and come to halt at the various odd points of the city. Night Vigil Teams visited Manimajra & Housing Board light points, Madhya Marg Showroom road Sector 7,8,9, Raen Basera, PGI, GMSH -16, Aroma light point showrooms line, Sector 22, Sector 43 Bus stand.
The aim is to initiate the project “TAARE ZAMEEN PAR” is to cover all the left out children and to give them the benefit of Polio drops. Children who are in travelling during the day time and earlier there were no night sessions, they are covered at railway station and bus stands by the Night Vigil teams in Chandigarh.
