In a protest against Digital Screening technology services, producers from 5 states in the South have decided to go on strike. This means no new film will be released in theatres from March 1st, especially in Tamil Nadu.

The producers allege that digital service providers are charging high amount of money for screening films & that despite repeated requests being made, the charges are the same.
