NewZNew (New Delhi) : At FIITJEE we inculcate in our students a habit to win. This has yet again been proved by the results declared for NTSE Stage-II. FIITJEE students have demonstrated outstanding Scholastic Brilliance in National Talent Search Exam (NTSE 2015) and we at FIITJEE feel proud and convey our heartiest congratulations to all our brilliant performers. A total of 406 students from FIITJEE have passed NTSE Stage –II with flying colors, contributing to 52.39% share at a National level.
NTSE is one of the most prestigious talent search examinations for school going children in India, with lakhs of students appearing for it every year. It aims to identify students with high intellect who have immense ability to succeed in academics. NTSE Stage-II examination is one of India’s most difficult and high profile Science competition and only students having cleared in NTSE Stage-I can appear in Stage-II exams. The results of National Level Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-II that were announced recently yet again validate FIITJEE’s leading position not just in engineering and competitive entrance training but in delivering a holistic education.
The brilliant performance comes in the backdrop of equally impressive performance of FIITJEE students in the preliminary stage with 13 States/City Toppers from FIITJEE. The total success approach of FIITJEE was further proven to be working by the fact that amongst the student scoring top 20 ranks in the exam, 19 were FIITJEE students, while all 15 in merit list belonged to FIITJEE. Remarkably, FIITJEE clean swept in Chandigarh where all the 11 students participating in NTSE Stage-I qualified to the next level.
Every year, the flagship program of NCERT, NTSE nationwide is conducted in two stages. While the stage I is preliminary stage which allows all the students studying in class X to participate, stage II is only conducted for students have qualified the first stage. Accordingly, Stage – I is conducted at the state level by States/UTs through the written examination and Stage-II is held at a national level. The examination acts as a guidance for the students to check their capability and potential, and weak points and shortcomings in the domains covered by the examination.
“I have always aspired to become an engineer. I aim to grab a seat at one of the prestigious IITs. For me qualifying NTSE is the first step towards my dream. The competition is tough indeed. Only an early preparation can help me sail through. NTSE was all about battle of brains, where concept and reasoning were to be used to crack the questions within the stipulated time. To qualify the exam it was important for me to train my brain to get accustomed to the required type of ability. I’m thankful to the faculty and staff of FIITJEE, who helped me day in and day out to raise my IQ to such competitive level through the study materials, doubt-clearing sessions and personalized guidance,” said one of the successful scholars.
Mr. R L Trikha, Director, FIITJEE sees the results as an emphatic validation of the FIITJEE way of teaching that has helped uncountable number of students, not only to realize their dream to make it to the IITs and other top engineering colleges of the country, but also to develop an attitude for excellence and success – a lifelong venture.
“Understanding the importance of the relevance of early preparation, FIITJEE believes in nurturing and enhancing the IQ as early as when in class VI, VII & VIII grade. Accordingly, it imparts training to develop raw intelligence of the students from class VI onwards through its various integrated school and classroom programs. We believe that the teaching methodology at school level in India does not impart Science education as it should be given. Rote learning methods in Science just do not work as they fail to generate inquisitiveness and conceptual knowledge in children. This is what we make up for at FIITJEE,” said Mr. R L Trikha.
FIITJEE is the nation’s premier institute for IIT-JEE training. FIITJEE believes that the ideal time for nurturing and enhancing the IQ of children is when they are in class VI, VII & VIII grade. It is with this belief that FIITJEE started imparting training to develop the nascent raw intelligence of the students from class VI onwards.
