1. The Cut (September 5, 2025)

Bloom is set to play a retired boxer who goes back to fight in Sean Ellis’ film ‘The Cut’. This tale, penned by Justin Bull & based on a tale by Mark Lane, shows Bloom as the fighter who steps out of rest. He wants his win title back. His path is full of hard tests from a tough weight-cut cut plan. His strict coach drives him to the edge. As he feels more cut off from the real world & his kin, his life shifts in a big way. Other stars are Caitríona Balfe, John Turturro, Clare Dunne, & Gary Beadle. The movie was first shown at the Toronto Film Fest on September 5, 2024. It will be out on September 5, 2025. 2. Wizards! (TBA)

Orlando Bloom will work with big stars like Pete Davidson, Naomi Scott, Franz Rogowski, & Sean Harris. They are in the new R-rated film ‘Wizards!’ It is led by David Michôd from Australia. He wrote it with Joel Edgerton. This is an A24 film. It tells the tale of two chill beach bar men. They fall in a hard spot. They find stolen cash they should have left alone. The film is done with its last cuts. We can’t wait to know when it comes out.

3. Bucking Fastard (TBA)

Now in its post-edit stage, Werner Herzog’s ‘Bucking Fastard’ tracks two tight sis who live on the edge of town. They fix their eyes on the one next door. Bloom will act with Kate Mara, Rooney Mara, Hugh O’Conor, & Simon Delaney in the film. The cast has Domhnall Gleeson, Terry McMahon, & Shane Connellan too. Werner Herzog penned the script from a real tale of twin sis Joan & Jean Gale. More news on when it comes out is to come.

4. Earthbound (TBA)

Made by Farhoud Meybodi, ‘Earthbound’ is a docu-series about our world. It is backed by Keshet Int. It looks at how folks face big eco tasks. Each show has one eco hero, like Nzambi Matee who starts Gjenge Makers. They turn old plastic into walkway bricks. Bloom will tell the tale. It’s still being made & no release date is set yet.
