Under the guidance of Civil Surgeon Barnala Dr. Baljit Singh and under the leadership of Senior Medical Officer Mehal Kalan Dr. Gurtejinder Kaur, a special checkup and counseling camp was organized at Umang Clinic located at Mehal Kalan Hospital today.
During this, adolescents of 10-19 years were given information about the problems they face due to physical, mental and emotional changes that occur at this age and checkup was also done.

Giving information on this occasion, Dr. Kuljit Singh said that Umang Clinic is a very important program of the Health Department under which the problems of children of 10-19 years like changes in the body, reproductive, menstrual problems, nutrition, drugs, emotional problems like anger, depression, violent thoughts and many other problems are treated. He said that all this treatment is done with the help of expert doctors, counselors and ANMs. Pharmacist Sukhpal Singh, staff nurse Alam Jot Kaur and other staff members were present on the occasion.
