Superstar Mika Singh presents a party song ‘Majnu 2′: Bollywood music King Mika Singh is popular for his hit party numbers. There is not a single wedding or party where people don’t dance to the tunes of Mika. His new song ‘Majnu 2’ has been creating a lot of buzz lately.
The first version of this song ‘Majnu’, for which the music was given by famous composers, Shaarib Sabari and Toshi Sabari, was filled with romance and soulfulness. Whereas the second version of the song is more of a club mix.
Majnu 2 is remixed by the renowned DJ Sumit Sethi and it has two beautiful models, Laxmi Rai and Shama Sikandar. It also has additional vocals of Avitesh Shrivastava, son of renowned music composer and singer, late Aadesh Shrivastava.
The video features Mika, Laxmi, Shama and DJ Sumit. The song is shot in Malta. The director of the video is Sumit Bhardwaj. It is produced by Mika Singh and Dr Tarang Krishna under the label of ‘Music and Sound’. It depicts the story of four friends having fun while vacationing. The song is vibrant and amusing with exceptionally groovy beats.
Mika went to the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 15’ to promote ‘Majnu 2’, and the host of the reality show Salman Khan loved and appreciated the song. Mika also visited the sets of Colors TV reality show ‘Hunarbaaz’ where after he requested the judge of the show, the living legend Mithun Chakraborty, to make a hook step of the song. Mithun in his own style did his famous signature step to Majnu 2 along with other judges, Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar.
Mika said, “When I made the first version of Majnu, I wanted to make people enjoy the romantic side of my voice. But then I feel the happiest when I make people dance to my voice, so I created the second version. Majnu 2 is remixed by DJ Sumit Sethi, who is very talented and like a younger brother to me. I am so grateful that Mithun Da danced to my song on the show ‘Hunarbaaz’ and now I have decided that I am going to use the same hook step that Dada did to all the Instagram reels of this song. I am sure people are going to dance to this song as much as they danced to my other songs.”
