“Legal awareness and health consciousness are the foundation of a strong, just, and progressive society. Only when young people understand their rights and responsibilities can they bring about positive change in society.” These inspiring words were spoken by Aparajita, Principal of Government College, Raipur Rani, while addressing students during a legal awareness camp and health fair organized at SDDGPI, Golpura (College). She motivated the students, saying that the purpose of education is not merely to obtain a degree, but also to empower oneself to fulfill one’s responsibilities towards society. She further added that a healthy body and an aware mind play a crucial role in nation-building.
On this occasion, NCC cadets and other students from Government College, Raipur Rani, participated enthusiastically. The program was organized by SDDGPI, Golpura, with the aim of making students and the general public aware of legal rights, duties, and important health-related aspects. The camp provided detailed information on topics such as legal literacy, consumer rights, women and child protection laws, protection against cybercrime, and legal aid services.
The health fair included various stalls where health check-ups, nutritional counseling, mental health awareness, and information on disease prevention were provided. Students not only availed themselves of these services but also made the general public aware of them.
The NCC cadets played an active role in the smooth conduct of the program. They demonstrated discipline, service, and leadership, guiding the participants and contributing significantly to the success of the event. Their participation truly exemplified the NCC motto of “Unity and Discipline.”
The entire program at Government College, Raipur Rani, was successfully conducted under the able supervision of Dr. Suneet Dutt Sharma and Dr. Yashveer, ANO NCC. They emphasized the importance of students gaining practical knowledge and connecting with society. Dr. Rohit Bhullar also addressed the students, encouraging them to actively participate in such activities in the future. At the end of the program, the organizers and participants appreciated this collaborative effort between SDDGPI, Golpura, and Government College, Raipur Rani. The students described the experience as informative, inspiring, and socially beneficial, stating that it provided them with a practical understanding of the importance of law and health.
