Trident Group Reaffirms Green Commitment with Earth Week 2025 Initiatives: Reinforcing its steadfast commitment to Sustainability, Trident Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates and global textile manufacturers, celebrated Earth Week with a series of impactful sustainability and community-driven initiatives across its locations.
Employees participated actively in green office practices and internal competitions. These efforts underscore the Group’s culture of embedding sustainability not just in policy, but in everyday action.
Trident’s culture of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seamlessly merges with its ethos of Individual Social Responsibility (ISR), as demonstrated by the overwhelming employee participation in this campaign.
At Sanghera, Trident’s manufacturing facility in Punjab, many activities were organized on the sidelines of “Earth Week” celebrations in the plant. A drawing competition for specially-abled children was also organized at the school run by Pawan Sewa Samiti.
The event encouraged young minds to creatively express their love for nature and fostered environmental awareness through art. Expressing their commitment to sustainability, the specially abled children vividly expressed their affection for nature through beautifully detailed drawings, each capturing the vibrant colours and serene beauty of the world around them. The students were later felicitated by company representatives.
At Budhni, in Madhya Pradesh, the Nirmal Narmada Abhiyan was carried out by the Trident Humanity Foundation under the CSR wing of the Group at Avali Ghat. It was a significant step towards preserving one of India’s most sacred rivers — the Narmada. Over 100 passionate volunteers, including Trident employees, CSR team members, and locals, actively participated in the large-scale cleanliness and rejuvenation drive at Avali Ghat.
These initiatives were carried out under the guidance of Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, and Mrs Madhu Gupta, CSR Head, whose vision for a greener planet continues to inspire purposeful action at the grassroots level. It reflects Trident’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, being aligned with a large vision of continued efforts towards environmental conservation.
Beyond Earth Week, Trident’s long-term environmental vision has been realized through high-impact sustainability projects like Parali Samadhan Initiative wherein Trident has successfully prevented the burning of agricultural residue (Parali) by the farmers around Barnala region in Punjab and has been successful in transforming potential pollutants into valuable resources.
This initiative significantly mitigates air pollution and promotes circular waste management. Additionally, the Group has embraced solar energy as a renewable power source and actively reuses water, significantly reducing its carbon footprint.
