Today Punjab Govt. Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora appointed MR Umang Jindal promoter of Homeland Group as a Chairman of Retail Sector Committee in Punjab.
This move is set to accelerate Retail industry Development across the State. His leadership is expected to give a major boost to the state’s industrial and retail development initiatives.
Sanjeev Arora Cabinet Minster Punjab said, ” The Govt of Punjab inder the leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is dedicated to fostering a progressive ecosystem for industrial growth, innovation and sustainability, alongside robust employment generation across the state.
To this end the Department of Industries & Commerce is embarking on a significant initiative to prepare customized transformational roadmaps for key industrial sectors of Punjab. This effort is designed to be truly collaborative and impactful, built upon extensive consultations with the industry stakeholders.
The core task of this Committee under Umang Jindal’s Leadership is to provide the Govt with a structured set of insight for a customized industrial policy frame work for the Retail Industry. It is important that the Committee thoroughly examine policies and framework from other relevant states across the Country to develop a ‘best-in-class’ policy framework for Punjab.
