She attained her primary and higher secondary education at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi and completed her graduation from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), where she pursued degree in Bachelor of Tourism. She was an intern for three years in the Oberoi group of hotels, Jaipur. Later, she enrolled in ITC hotels and started working for them. In 2009, she made her TV debut by acting in the daily soap, Rajuben.
