What Is National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam

What Is National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam: In 2018, the Ministry of Education established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sufficient primary testing organization for leading effective, transparent, and international standard exams to evaluate candidate’s proficiency for admission to top higher education institutions.

What Is National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam

Now NTA is conducting various competitive exams for numerous educational institutions.

Why was NTA Created?

Before NTA, the students aspiring to become doctors and engineers could try their luck once. These students were faced with many challenges along with immense educational pressure. It was pretty hard for students to clear the exam in a single attempt. If they could not pass the test, they had to wait for a whole year to give the test again, which would waste their time.

Considering these factors, the government decided to create an independent agency to administer these entrance exams. Now, the National Testing Agency conducts these tests twice a year that facilitates students to systemize their studies and provides them with an opportunity to try their luck again without wasting a whole year. Sarkari Result brings together the results of all top institutions under one roof.

NTA Exam Syllabus And Pattern

The test curriculum for medical and engineering universities is so extensive that not all students can grasp it. With the fierce competition for admission at prestigious universities, the entrance exams and exams for Government Jobs are getting even more tricky because all the students cannot be accommodated for a limited number of seats.

As per the official notification, the syllabus for the NTA exam will remain the same. This is an opportunity for students to prepare their courses efficiently, as there is no change in the curriculum. However, the paper pattern for the NEET exam conducted by NTA is revised. In the NEET 2021 paper, students will have the choice to answer questions in one portion of each subject, which will be divided into two sections, i.e., A and B.

NTA Exam List

The NTA is in charge of conducting a variety of entrance exams for higher education in a variety of areas as well as for various academic institutions. Before NTA, in 2018, these exams were administered by other organizations like CBSE, CSIR, UGC, and others. Millions of students take the NTA exam each year. There is a specific paper pattern, syllabus, and eligibility criteria for each exam. After the exam, applicants have to wait for the official results.
