1. Pole to Pole (TBA)

Smith takes the lead role & will lead the team in the new docuseries named ‘Pole to Pole.’ This will be on Disney+ in the Nat Geo hub. The show tags along with Smith & his crew on a 26,000-mile trek. They start at the South Pole & end at the North Pole, crossing all biomes. They will spend time in the towns they pass. The show is done with edits & waits for its launch.

2. I Am Legend 2 (TBA)

The next part of the 2007 film ‘I am Legend’ is in the works. Smith is part of it. The plot is still a secret. Akiva Goldsman wrote it, the same who helped pen the first. He based it on Richard Matheson’s 1954 book. Michael B. Jordan will act with Smith. Their roles are not told. Both are also producers. Rest of the cast is not set. Francis Lawrence, the first film’s boss, is back. The film is gearing up to start.

3. Fast and Loose (TBA)

‘Fast & Loose’ is a crime movie on Netflix. It tracks John Riley. He runs a bad group. He lost his past in a hit. When he meets his team, he sees that all is not as he thought. He has two lives. One as a crime boss & one as a spy for the CIA.Smith plays John Riley. The rest of the cast is still unknown. Michael Bay is the boss here. The show stopped when Smith hit Chris Rock at the 2022 Awards. Yet, the film is set to go & is in prep mode. There is no date for when it will come out.

4. Planes, Trains & Automobiles (TBA)

This is a new take on the 1987 film. It tracks two guys trying to get home for a big break. Smith & Kevin Hart star & produce. Aeysha Carr directs. It was told in 2020. They want to get it just right. Smith said it could take time. It’s not ready yet.

5. Untitled Will Smith Comedy Special (TBA)

Will Smith will lead his first fun show for Netflix. It is a one-hour show. It will have star guests, big talks, fun acts, song acts, & more. It was to come out in 2021. But, it is still not done. Maybe due to Smith’s fight with Chris Rock at the 2022 movie awards. We wait for more news about it.

6. The Council (TBA)

Smith plays drug boss Nicky Barnes in ‘The Council.’ This is a true crime film. It shares how a group of seven black men got big in Harlem in the 1970s & 80s. The film got made by Peter Landesman & Rapman. They said in 2019 that Smith would help make it, & Netflix would send it out. But, no new news has come out yet about the making. 7. Resistor (TBA)

Smith will act in the Sony sci-fi film, “Resistor.” It’s from a book by Daniel Suarez named “Influx.” Zak Olkewicz made the first script. Eric Warren Singer did the new one. The film’s plot is not told yet. The book shows Jon Grady & his group. They found a tool that can push back gravity. But soon, a secret group locks their lab. This group is called the Bureau of Technology Control (BTC). When Grady won’t join BTC, he gets put in a high-tech jail. This jail also has other smart folks who BTC sees as threats. Grady & his jail mates must show BTC’s dark, deep plans. These plans use tech 50 years ahead. No one yet leads the film. They are still looking.

8. Hancock 2 (TBA)

Smith is back as John Hancock for ‘Hancock 2,’ led by Peter Berg. Adam Fierro & Glen Mazzara are on the script. Zendaya may join. In Hancock, he is a wild lone man till a guy reaches out & changes him to a loved hero. The film waits for its director. We hope to know more soon.
