NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Universal Group of Institutions organised National Conference on Innovations and Developments in Engineering and Management in which as many as 76 delegates and students participated.
The Chief Guest at the moment was Madan Mohan Mittal, Minister for parliamentary Affairs, Technical Education, family welfare, Industry and commerce. Guest of Honour at the occasion was Prof. M K Surappa, Director IIT, Ropar. Dr Y.P. Verma. Associate Prof. & Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, UIET, PU, Chandigarh was special guest at this moment.
The conference commenced after the traditional lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Gurpeet Singh Chairman of Universal Group while welcoming chief guest and dignitaries said that such wonderful events provides great learning to the students to broaden their horizon by covering the latest outstanding developments in the field of engineering and management.
Keynote Speaker at the moment was Sanjay Kaushik Prof. UBS Panjab University Chandigarh. According to him knowledge, productivity are the key words and Knowledge leads to technology development that drives productivity and culminating in a knowledge led movement of growth. Plenary Lecture was given by Dr. Shakti Arora Associate Prof. Department of Civil Engineering, PEC, Chandigarh.
After Lunch break in second technical Session Navita UIET Panjab University Chandigarh, Upneet Sandhu ACET Amritsar, Parul Prashar UIET UGI , Pankaj CCET Chandigarh Sahil & Manpreet Kaur ACET Amritsar, Vanshika UCACS UGI, Anil Jindal UIET,UGI addressed this session.
