
The 108 Ambulance service in Mohali has played a crucial role in handling various medical emergencies. Of the total cases, 3,875 were pregnancy-related deliveries, highlighting the essential role of ambulances in maternal healthcare.
Sharing his views, Mr. Manish Batra, Project Head, 108 Ambulance, stated, “Our goal is to provide immediate assistance in critical moments. With a dedicated fleet of BLS and ALS ambulances, trained paramedics, and a 24×7 operational call center, we ensure quick and efficient medical transfers.”
Mr. Batra further emphasized the importance of public cooperation, adding, “We appreciate the continued support from the Punjab Government and the Health Department. I urge everyone to yield to ambulances on the road because saving time means saving a life.”
Since its inception in 2011, the 108 Ambulance service has assisted over 2,938,718 people across Punjab, reflecting its steadfast dedication to emergency medical care.
108 Ambulance service now operated under Zenplus Private Limited (formerly Ziqitza Healthcare Limited) continues to strengthen Punjab’s emergency medical infrastructure, ensuring that every call to 108 results in a swift, professional and life-saving response.
