2. Farzar (2022)

‘Farzar’ is about a prince named Fichael. His city got hit hard by aliens. He tries to fix things. To live & save folks, he & his crew go to stop the aliens. They must do this quickly or face more risk. Yet, deep secrets could flip his life on its head. This show is on Netflix. It was made by Waco O’Guin & Roger Black. Like ‘Rick & Morty,’ it digs into how aliens & humans mix & self-finds. Both shows share looks & sci-fi hints. You can watch it on Netflix.

3. Mulligan (2023-)

Netflix’s ‘Mulligan’ is a post-apocalyptic tale that looks at the lives of folks who live past an alien hit on Earth. The fun show, made by Sam Means & Robert Carlock, shows how Matty Mulligan, the top of the folk, tries to find ways to save all in the wake of the alien hit. In this hard road, men must know how to stay on & not do old wrongs that led to their end. The bits of aliens, odd traits of folk, & talk on rule look like ‘Rick and Morty.’ Both tales show end-time events & their fallout.

4. Disenchantment (2018-2023)

The grown-up fun show ‘Disenchantment’ tells the tale of a girl named Beanie. She breaks all set rules & says no to marrying a man. To shield her land, Dreamland, she sets off on a wild trip of self-think with a dark one, Luci, & a small one, Elfo. On her way, she meets hard tests, fake turns, & dark truths that push her. Made by Matt Groening & Josh Weinstein, the Netflix show is like ‘Rick & Morty.’ It digs into wild trips & how folks bond. Both tales show young folks whose need to know brings them to odd ends.

5. The Midnight Gospel (2020)

Made by Duncan Trussell & Pendleton Ward, Netflix’s ‘The Midnight Gospel’ has Clancy Gilroy, a spacecaster. He does podcasts in space. He meets folks from all over. They talk on his space shows. Through these talks, he finds out more. He learns about the world & his life. He looks for what it all means. The show has tech stuff & space tales. It looks at what young folks think in odd places. The look of this grown-up show links it to ‘Rick & Morty’ & its folks.

6. BoJack Horseman (2014-2020)

Netflix’s ‘BoJack Horseman’ is about the main horse guy, BoJack. He is a horse that looks like a man. BoJack wants to fix his old star job by a big move in Hollywood. But, the once big star sees that the world has changed a lot from the past. He learns it takes more than love for the job to make an epic comeback. Raphael Bob-Waksal made this show. The fun show tells of hope, love, want, & fix. It has the same look as ‘Rick & Morty.’ It has kin parts & blends fun & sad stuff with odd folks. These link the two tales in spirit.

7. Paradise PD (2018-2022)

‘Paradise PD’ shows the fun times of bad cops in a tiny town named Paradise. This Netflix show is made by Waco O’Guin & Roger Black. A guy named Kevin Crawford goes through good & bad times as he aims to join the police team. The cops have wild trips to crack cases like drug selling, while they face their own deep flaws & meet odd & fun folk. The show looks like ‘Rick and Morty,’ with wild parts, odd folk, & the story of a young one who tries to fit into the grown-up world.

8. Big Mouth (2017-2025)

‘Big Mouth’ by Netflix is a funny show. It is about teen friends. These are Andrew Glouberman, Jessi Glaser, Nick Birch, & more. They deal with hard feelings as they face the tough parts of growing up & the sex stuff linked to it. Made by Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin, & Jennifer Flackett, the show is about the fun times of these teens. They fight social shame & their own fears at a weak point in their life. The teen who wants to be in the show are like Morty’s role in ‘Rick & Morty.’ This links the two tales deeply. The shows also have talks between teens & grown-ups that add to the story vibes.

9. Love, Death & Robots (2019-)

Made by Tim Miller, ‘Love, Death & Robots’ is a show on Netflix. It’s a mix of short tales. Each one is a bit on love, death, & robots. Some tales show a woman running for her life, robots on a fun trip, & smart yogurt after it is made. It has odd folks & sci-fi bits. It’s like ‘Rick & Morty’ in some ways. Both share a vibe. They look at odd stuff & what folks think is right or wrong.

10. Q-Force (2021)

‘Q-Force’ on Netflix tells of a team of LGBTQIA+ spies. They face big risks for a top spy group. Gabe Liedman made this show. It’s for grown-ups & has jokes. It stars Steve Marywhether. He is the lead spy. He gets caught in a big case. This case lets him show his worth to the team. The show talks about brave acts, friends, queer self, & tricks. Like ‘Rick & Marty,’ it has parts on how the group acts & tough ties. These links make a deep bond ‘twixt the two tales & their folk.

11. Captain Fall (2023)

Made by Jon Iver Helgaker, Jonas Torgersen, & Joel Trussell, the Netflix show ‘Captain Fall’ is about a sea boss named Jonathan Fall. He mixes with bad folks. The show tells how this good man gets sunk deep into a crime ring. The group plans to pin their crimes on him if the cops catch them. The tale is set on a ship. This makes it more fun. Like ‘Rick & Morty,’ it digs into the hard parts of being human. It has laughs & sad parts too. The guys, Morty & Fall, are much the same in how they act.

12. Archer (2009-2023)

FX’s show ‘Archer’ is about a spy group. In it, a spy named Sterling Archer is a key man. The tale shows his ties with his boss & mom, Malory, & his past love, Agent Lana Kane. These ties are key parts of the show. The plot shows the funny ways the group’s folk act with each other. They often trick & lie. Adam Reed made the show. It’s like ‘Rick & Morty’. It has bits of sharp talk & fun. It also has fast-moving bits like ‘Rick and Morty’.
