While the boy doesn’t know how to cook, Remi fulfills his own cooking urges by hiding under Linguini’s toque and helping the latter cook tasty recipes, much to the chagrin of the restaurant’s owner, Skinner (Ian Holm), who has no idea how a garbage boy can cook so well. Unbeknownst to Skinner, Linguini carries a secret directly connected to the restaurant’s dead founder, Auguste Gusteau.
