25 students of KVM successfully passed the test to register their names as NCC cadets


As per the directions of the Commanding Officer 3, Pb. Batallion, NCC Col. Harmanjeet Singh and Under the guidance of Subedar Jaswinder Singh a physical fitness test and parade for the students of Kundan Vidya Mandir, Civil lines was conducted by ANO Lt. Sandeep Singh Saini to register their name as a NCC Cadet for the session 2018-2020. 25 students successfully passed the test and have been selected. Students were eager to join NCC as they know Apart from their respective institutional training, physical training, drill, weapon training, map reading, games and yoga practices, social service, workshops on  road safety, traffic rules , health and hygiene, fire management and fire aid etc. will be  organised for  them time to time .Even if they don’t join Army such education will helpful for them to live life better .The principal of the school, Navita Puri congratulated the students. She said that such activities inculcate the feeling of patriotism in students. These students can offer their services in the defence forces also .According to her the main objective of starting NCC training in schools is to give the students v an opportunity to experience the military life. It’s crucial to train students early in school and make them strong physically, healthy and well-prepared for any war-like situation. Thus, NCC is an excellent option for students with its obvious advantages.
