Adam Driver got his start in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar, and then went on to star in ‘Girls’ on HBO. He got three Emmy nods for it. In 2015, he took the part of Kylo Ren in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ He played him again in the next two Star Wars films. Driver’s film list grew as he took on roles in ‘Midnight Special,’ ‘Silence,’ & ‘Paterson.’ He shone bright in Spike Lee’s ‘BlacKkKlansman,’ & got nods from the Academy & Golden Globe. In 2019, he appeared in ‘Marriage Story’ & got one more Academy Award nomination. His past work is great, & he will keep us all hooked with his work to come. Here are his upcoming films.

1. Father, Mother, Sister, Brother (Oct 3, 2025)

Driver will be in Jim Jarmusch’s dramedy ‘Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.’ The plot will have three parts & it will tell three different tales. Each will be set now, but in a different land. ‘Father’ is in the NE U.S., ‘Mother’ in Dublin, & ‘Sister Brother’ in Paris. Each tale has siblings who meet after a long time & face big past troubles. The cast has big stars like Cate Blanchett & more. The film is done & comes out on Oct 3, 2025.

2. Misty Green (TBA)

In Chris Rock’s directing feature “Misty Green,” Driver will co-star with Anna Kendrick, Topher Grace, Daniel Kaluuya, and Rock. Rock wrote the A24 drama, which centers on Misty, a gifted actress whose career is being hampered by vices. A fantastic opportunity is presented by Jordan, a director who has the ideal role for her. Unfortunately, their tumultuous past makes the situation more difficult. Rosalind Eleazar is also a member of the cast. The film is presently in production and is awaiting a release date.

3. The Carnival at the End of Days (TBA)

Terry Gilliam’s biblical comedy film “The Carnival at the End of Days,” in which Driver is a member of the cast, is scheduled to start production in January 2025. Asa, Jason Momoa, Jeff Bridges, and Johnny Depp will co-star with Driver. According to the story, which was written by Christopher Brett Bailey and Gilliam, God is dissatisfied with everything that has happened on Earth and wants to exterminate humanity. However, Satan persuades God that he has discovered two young people who are the new Adam and Eve in an effort to save humanity. Jeff Bridges will portray God, and Depp will portray Satan. Emma Laird will portray Eve, and Asa Butterfield will portray Adam. The roles of Momoa and Driver have not yet been revealed. We still don’t know who plays Eve. There will be stop-motion and digital animation in the movie. Details about the release are still pending, but the filming appears to be finished.

4. Paper Tiger (TBA) 

Driver will co-star with Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong in James Gray’s high-profile crime thriller “Paper Tiger.” The plot, which is based on Gray’s original screenplay, centers on two brothers who pursue the American Dream only to get caught up in an impossible scam. The Russian “Mafiya” brutally terrorizes the two men and their family as they attempt to make their way through a perilous world of violence and corruption. Betrayal appears imminent as their bond starts to deteriorate. Filming for “Paper Tiger” has begun, and the film is currently in pre-production. We’re waiting on a release date.

5. Heat 2 (TBA)

Adam Driver is anticipated to play a younger Neil McCauley in the upcoming sequel to the 1995 smash hit “Heat.” Robert De Niro plays the character in the first movie. The 2022 book “Heat 2: A Novel,” written by Michael Mann and Meg Gardiner, served as the inspiration for the film. As it examines what happens to the characters both before and after the events of the first movie, “Heat 2” functions as both a prequel and a sequel to “Heat.” The project is once again directed by Mann, who also directed the first movie. According to rumors, Austin Butler will portray Chris Shiherlis, who was first portrayed by Val Kilmer. As of yet, the remaining members of the cast have not been revealed. The story will be adapted for the big screen by Mann and Gardiner. The release date for “Heat 2,” which is presently in pre-production, has not yet been disclosed.

6. The Dealer (TBA)

Driver & Jessica Chastain will star in ‘The Dealer’ on Apple TV+. The tale is about an art seller who must deal with the tough art world & her tie with a tough artist. It is still in the early steps & has no show date yet.
