It is now confirmed that 29-year old Lalita Salve will be treated as a male constable upon returning to duty after the sex change operation.Beed SP G Shreedhar has confirmed that the dept received a letter from DGP that Salve will get all the benefits of a male constable after joining duty. “Salve, however, will have to bear all expenses related to the surgery,” he added.
