Andrew Garfield made his first big splash in Hollywood with his role in ‘Lions for Lambs,’ where he acted alongside Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep. However, it was his role as Eduardo Saverin in the 2010 movie ‘The Social Network’ that really made him famous. This performance got him his first Golden Globe nomination.

Garfield’s career soared when he took on the role of Spider-Man in the 2012 reboot ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and its sequel. In the years that followed, he continued to impress audiences and critics with performances in films like ‘Hacksaw Ridge,’ earning him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. With numerous awards and honors, Garfield’s career keeps going strong as he accepts challenging and varied projects on both stage and screen. Here’s a look at some exciting projects coming up for this talented actor!
1. After the Hunt (October 17, 2025)
Andrew Garfield and Julia Roberts are teaming up for this new Amazon MGM thing called ‘After the Hunt.’ Psychological thriller vibes, you know the drill. Luca Guadagnino’s directing (the dude who did “Call Me By Your Name”—so you just know it’ll have some weird tension and maybe a peach?). The script’s by Nora Garrett.

Julia’s playing this college professor who’s basically having the worst semester ever: some hotshot student throws accusations at one of her colleagues, and then—because life just LOVES piling it on—her own sketchy past starts bubbling up. Drama city. The cast? Legit stacked. Chloë Sevigny, Michael Stuhlbarg, Ayo Edebiri (yes, from “The Bear”), and Thaddea Graham are all in the mix. The movie’s already wrapped up post, so no vaporware here—it’s dropping October 17, 2025. Oh, and there’s a trailer floating around if you wanna peek. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild one.
2. The Magic Faraway Tree (March 26, 2026)

Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy will star as Polly and Tim, respectively, alongside their ‘children’ Beth, Joe and Fran, in the magical family adventure motion picture ‘The Magic Faraway Tree,’ inspired by Enid Blyton’s cherished children book series, ’The Faraway Tree.’ ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ features a screenplay developed by Simon Farnaby and is directed by Ben Gregor. The family is somewhat estranged and so spends time in the remote English countryside. The children very soon come across a magical tree with fantastical beings, including some loved ones characters such as Dame Snap, Dame Washalot, Moonface, Mr. Oom Boom Boom, Silky, and Saucepan Man.
