ICET allotment result for admissions to MBA and MCA colleges is scheduled to be announced today (July 19) and the registered students will be able to check their respective allotment from the official website apicet.nic.in. The ‘Download ICET Allotment Order’ link will be activated by the Council once the allotment results are announced for admissions.
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) had asked the ICET qualified candidates to participate in ICET 2017 counselling. Sri Venkateswara University had conducted the Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET 2017) on May 2 in which 62,962 candidates appeared out of total 70,678 registered applicants. The results of ICET were announced on May 15 and 54,503 candidates were declared eligible for participating in ICET counselling. The candidates who had secured 25% marks in ICET were assigned ranks in the order of merit.
The qualified candidates had to attend certificate verification at Help Line Centers from July 11 to 15 as per their rank and exercise options from July 14 to 17. The options submitted by the candidates were frozen at 6 pm on July 17 and now the allotments will be made on the final locked choices only. “ICET allotment will be placed in the website on 19.07.2017 after 6 pm,” APSCHE said.
APSCHE will allot the colleges to the candidates based on the options exercised, merit rank and category (SC/ ST/ BC/ PH/ NCC/ CAP/ Sports and games quota etc) of the candidate. Once the ICET allotment result is published officially, the candidates will have to download ICET allotment order from the website. The next step for securing admission is to pay the fee in once of the designated banks and collect the fee receipt. The candidates allotted a college will then have to report at the respective colleges along with allotment order and fee receipts on or before the dates specified in the AP ICET allotment order 2017.
If a candidate fails to report for admission at the allotted colleges by the specified dates, his/ her allotment will be cancelled and he/ she will have no further claim on the seat, APSCHE said. The academic session is scheduled to commence from July 26 in all colleges.
