65 underprivileged girls get pension benefits from MP Kirron Kher on Atal ji Birthday
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : On the occasion of 91st birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Indian Prime Minister, Beti Padhao Society and Joshi Foundation organized a special function where 65 unprivileged girl students of Chandigarh were given Atal Pension Plan by Kirron Kher, MP from Chandigarh. The function was presided by Ajay Vyas, FGM, Central Bank of India, Chandigarh in the august presence of Dinesh Kumar, General Secretary Organisation BJP Pb, Vineet Joshi, Asst. Media Advisor, Punjab Govt. and Saurabh Joshi, Chancellor, Ward No. 2. The event took place at Golden Jubilee Hall, Panjab University.
On this occasion, Kirron Kher addressed the present audience in full joy. She said, “I am happy that our city acknowledges the importance of girls and their education. Atal ji’s a perfect example of development and distribution of this pension plan is an apt gift on his birthday. I hope we set a perfect example for the rest of the country and together as a nation we become stronger with the equal involvement of women in the development process.”
Vineet and Saurabh Joshi while applauding the effort of Beti Padhao Society said, “We are always there to support for any social cause through our foundation which has been actively fighting the drug menace in the region. We are proud to be the part of this effort and we look forward to more such events.”
