Avatar: The Last Airbender was a great television series : The series aired on Nickelodeon and was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, with Aaron Ehasz. It was animated by Nickelodeon Animated Studio and was later also adapted into a live-action movie. This is an action and fantasy series that has a huge fanbase.

Avatar: The Last Airbender lasted for three seasons that consisted of 61 episodes. A lot of characters in the show were created quite well. Among them, one of the most popular characters was Sokka, a member of the Water Tribe. Being one of the fan favorites, people are often curious about him. Who does Sokka end up with? Well, his romantic life is quite blurry.

Who is Sokka?

Sokka is a character from the Avatar: The Last Airbender series and also appears in The Legend Of Korra. He is voiced by Jack DeSena and Chris Hardwick in the television series and was enacted by Jackson Rathbone in the Avatar movie. Sokka did not have any abilities, but he still excelled highly as a warrior and as a protector.

The Avatar series does not portray Sokka’s love life. So it is never revealed who Sokka ends up with. The series had a good ending, and we would love to know the answer to this question. Sokka has a good fanbase who love shipping him with two specific characters, who are Suki and Toph.

The more popular character paired with Sokka is Suki. In the Legend of Korra, we would have known if Toph and Sokka had a child. Since there was no indication of this news, it does not seem likely that Sokka ended up with Toph. The same can be said about Sokka and Suki.

In the Legend of Korra, Sokka does not have any known descendent. Thus it is very unclear who Sokka ended up with or if he even ended up with anyone at all.

Sokka and Suki

Sokka is more popularly shipped with Suki. Towards the end of Avatar, the two were also dating. However, it was never stated if they got married.

Suki was always cheerful to have Sokka around. They made quite a happy couple and fit each other pretty well. She was also forgiving towards him and held a softer spot towards him. 

Sokka and Toph

Toph is another character that is often shipped with Sokka, even if they were never officially announced. Fans see potential in their relationship after seeing how well they looked with each other. Toph was tough and took to physical means to express herself. So it was quite obvious that she admired Sokka a lot as she punched him quite often. However, all this punching led their relationship towards the road of friendship rather than towards a romantic intimacy.

In Legend of Korra, Sokka compliments Toph, but we never see anything special between them. So despite all the closeness between them, the creators made sure to develop no indication of romance between them.

However, they had a deep relationship irrespective of whatever they call it. So, it could be possible that Sokka ended up with Toph after some development and didn’t have any kids.
