NewZNew (Bathinda) : The Community Policing Resource Center (CPRC) today held meeting under the SSP Bathinda Mr Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti wherein the works being done under Saanjh Kendras was reviewed. The chairman of committee-cum-SSP Mr Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti said that to deal with the problem of traffic city was being into zones. An ASI would be made in-charge of each zone to ensure that traffic runs smoothly without any hassle. Besides this the illegal encroachments would also be removed for free flow of traffic.
SSP said that at the Saanjh Kendras people would be given update about passport, character, police clearance certificate, licence verification etc on the applicant’s mobile phone through an SMS. The applicant would know status of his or her application through SMS service to give time bound services. He added that the Saanjh Kendras were running successfully and a number of people are availing its benefits.
During the meeting SSP also heard suggestion of the members of CPRC committees. He also discussed the problems committee on women issues and domestic violence was facing.
