Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 – Eliminations | Contestants | Online Voting | Winner: The fifth season of Bigg Boss Malayalam season started on March 26, 2023, with 18 contestants. And, of course, you can not even think somebody else in the place of host rather than Superstar Mohanlal.

The contestants will be inside the Bigg Boss house for 105 days with no contact with the outside world. As we all know, this show is inspired by the Dutch Reality show called ‘Big Brother.’

Endemol Shine India is producing the show, which will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. BB Malayalam Season 5 airs on the Asianet channel. For your information, the Malayalam version of Bigg Boss is the rawest among all other regional versions.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 Eliminations

Week 1 – No Eliminations

Week 2 – Rinosh George, Reneehsa Rahman, Vishnu Joshi, Gopika Gopi, Aniyan Midhun, Angeline Maria, and Lachu Gram were nominated.

Week 3 – Angeline receives a lesser number of votes and gets evicted.

Week 4 – Gopika was eliminated from the show.

Week 5 – Double eviction (Maneesha KD and Sreedevi Menon). The same week Aishwarya walked out from the show.

Week 6 – Cerena, Junaiz, Omar, Reneesha, Shiju, Sobha, and Sruthi were nominated for sixth-week eviction process.

1. Gopika Gopi

Gopika was chosen for the show by Airtel through a missed-call contest, which is the show’s title sponsor. And she represents the general public; this is something for the first time happening in Malayalam Bigg Boss history.

This 24-year-old single mother is working in a courier service agency. She has been living with her parents and two brothers. Gopika Gopi enters the show with the commoner tag and has to compete with other competitors who are celebrities and Influencers.

2. Aishwarya Suresh aka Lachu

This South-Africa-born model, actress, and dancer is another contestant in the show. Her Instagram account has 162K followers (as of April 2023). Aishwarya Suresh aka Lachu played a significant role National award-winning feature film called ‘Thinkalazhcha  Nichayam.’ She also participated in a dance reality show called ‘Super Dance Junior’.

3. Aniyan Midhun

Aniyan Midhun is popularly known as the “Son of Arabian Sea”, Aniyan Midhun is a WUSHU practitioner and won a Gold medal representing India in the International WUSHU fighting. He is a world champion who also excelled in kickboxing and Karate.

4. Sruthi Lakshmi

Sruthi Lakshmi is a popular Malayalam Television actress who won the Best Actress award for the serial called Pokkuveyil in 2016. She started her career as a child artist and worked in several feature films. She has done notable characters in the Malayalam film called ‘Ith thaan da police’ and ‘Ketiyolaanu Ente Malakha’. She is a trained classical dancer.

This 37-year-old businesswoman is a founder of a clothing brand called ‘weavers village‘, She received Kerala Business Visionary Award back in 2016. Shobha’s vision is to preserve traditional Indian textiles and empower the local handloom artisans.

Earlier she was trapped in controversy for holding 400 grams of Ganja in her clothing store and later it came out that it was a planned trap by a businessman. She conducted a fundraising campaign to support the people who are affected by the flood in 2019, and the campaign was called ‘Bhoomika’.

This 26-year-old young man is a fitness model as well as a trainer. He won titles such as Mr. Kerala(2017), Mr. Ernakulam(2017), and Mr. Ernakulam (2019). He frequently posts his fitness regimen on social media channels.

8. Reneesha Rahiman

Now this Director is on the contestants’ list.
