The British School, Mohali Annual Day: Christmas theme presentation leaves audience spellbound
newznew (Chandigarh) : The British School, Mohali celebrated its Annual Day with an exuberant cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony. Lt. Gen. Harbhajan Singh PVSM (Retd.) Former Signal Officer in Chief- Indian Army; was the Chief Guest who gave away the prizes to the star achievers of the last session.
The event commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by a Welcome Song paying tribute to the Founder of the school, Late T. R. Sethi. A devotional dance on ‘Shivaay’ spread spiritual vibes. Foot tapping dances were performed by the dazzling little rock stars of the Junior Wing. An electrifying performance by the senior students captivated the audience through the ‘Halloween Dance’, which was enriched with scintillating music, vibrant costumes and props.
‘Heart Beat of Punjab’ the Bhangra performance had everyone in an upbeat mood. In the end a Grand Finale on the Christmas theme set the stage ablaze with colour and music. This was appreciated by one and all. Parvinder Kaur, Principal of the School presented the Annual Report Reena Sethi – Director of the School congratulated the entire staff & students for their tireless efforts in putting up the presentation.
