No Surprise Announcement for 10th Results
Unlike CBSE 12th Results, which were announced as a complete surprise for students, without any prior notice or intimation; CBSE has gone for a much smoother route for the declaration of Class 10 Results. Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the declaration date for CBSE 10th Results 2020 much in advance and ensured that students are not in for a surprise again. However, as the time of the result is still not announced, it is important for students to still be vigilant as CBSE may declare the Class 10 Results at any time. Once announced, the details will be first updated on jagranjosh.com. Therefore, students are advised to bookmark this page and visit it regularly.
No Toppers List for Class 10 Results as well?
As the CBSE Board Results 2020 are being calculated on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme announced by the CBSE; the board has decided not to announce any toppers list or merit list for Class 12 students. As the same assessment scheme is likely to be followed for Class 10 students as well, the board is likely to continue this policy of not declaring CBSE 10th Toppers List 2020 as well after the results are declared. Although, final confirmation on this is still awaited from board’s end.
Alternative Ways of Checking Results via Umang, Digilocker App and IVRS Telephone Line
Today, after the official declaration of CBSE 12th Result 2020; the official result portal i.e. cbseresults.nic.in crashed and kept facing technical difficulties in displaying results to the students. This has caused major problems for students, who were trying to check and access their results online. However, alternative modes of checking CBSE Results i.e. via DigiLocker App, Umang App and IVRS enabled Telephone Call Line, have helped students access their results. Infact, through the DigiLocker App, students will not only be able to check their CBSE 10th Results 2020, but also be able to download the digitally ssigned copy of their marksheet along with passing and migration certificate, which can come in handy for applying for further education. These are also likely to be further used by the CBSE Board for Class 10 Results as well, because the number of students for CBSE 10th Result 2020 are higher as compared to Class 12.
Tele-Counselling for Class 10 Students
Along with declaration of the Class 12 Results, the board has also officially launched the Post Result Tele-Counselling Facility for the students. Through this facility, students and parents can reach out to the board to resolve any of their queries related to CBSE Results 2020. In addition to this, the trained and qualified counsellors will also provide help to the students to deal with the psychological challenges and issues that they might face after the declaration of CBSE Board Results 2020. This tele-counselling facility will also be made available to the Class 10 students once their results are announced.
