Delhi CET result 2017 for the Polytechnic entrance exam will be announced today, i.e. 16th June. Over 40 thousand candidates had applied for Common Entrance Test (CET 2017) conducted by Integrated Institute of Technology, Dwarka. Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi had appointed the institution to hold CET for admissions to Full-time diploma programmes in various institutes affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Delhi.
Delhi CET 2017 was held as an offline test on 27 & 28 May as five tests. The Test 1 was for engineering/ technology based diploma courses & occupational courses, Test 2 for diploma course in Modern Office Practice – English, Test 3 for diploma course in Modern Office Practice – Hindi, Test 4 for diploma course in Pharmacy and Test 5 was for lateral entry in engineering diploma courses.
Delhi CET Polytechnic result will be declared online at the official website cetdelhi.nic.in on 16th June. As per the official website, the results will be published by 4 pm. To check Delhi CET 2017 result, the candidates will have to enter their CET application number, roll number and test serial number. As the Poly CET results will be out on 16th June, the first round of counselling will commence from 17th June.
Based on the marks obtained in the entrance test, the Controller, CET 2017 will prepare a list of candidates in order of merit in each category, for each test. For being eligible for admission, a general candidate must secure a minimum of 10% marks and reserved category must secure a minimum of 5% marks in CET 2017. The ranks will be awarded to the candidates, based on which the counselling will be done.
All admissions will be made on the basis of the inter-se merit ranking in the test concerned and fulfillment of minimum eligibility conditions prescribed for each test. The exact counselling procedure will be displayed on the website in due course of time.
A total of 4,635 seats are available for the academic session 2017-18 in all full-time diploma courses. 357 seats are also available under Lateral entry scheme in diploma courses. Overall, 10 government institutions, 1 government-aided institution and 5 private institutions offer diploma courses in Delhi, wherein 85% seats are to be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from Schools located in Delhi.
