NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Chandigarh Group of colleges Jhanjeri is to organize its state level Annual Techno cultural programme ‘CGC Techfest 2015’ on 2nd November 2015. The posters carrying details of the event were released by Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC. The theme of this function will be Celebrating Technology to promote the concept of Digital India.
The entire programme will be full of lively cultural, Technical & Non-Technical events. Some of the prominent cultural events include Alaap-solo singing, surkshetra, Punjabi virsa dances, Mimicry, Abhinay, Junoon, Nrityotsav etc. Other events like Quiz competition, Maze runner, Polo climbing robot, Techno-skic, Poster presentation, Autocad, Programming League, Project Demonstration, Computer quiz, Tech Hunt, Gaming Zone, Logo Addiction, Bridge the Gap etc form part of Technical Events where as Non-technical events consist of Colour your Thoughts, Mishmash, Toon Draw, Splash, New Look, Mehandi, Nail Art, Mega Tower, Rise the Tower etc.
More than 10,000 students from various schools & colleges of Punjab, Haryana, HP & Chandigarh (UT) are to participate. As a CSR of this leading educational group a team of experts will provide career counseling to 10+2 students of various schools coming to participate in this function. The star attraction of this event will be a live performance by noted folk singer Jazzy B and the live band Gurnazar.
Speaking about the event, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that such functions help in developing the overall personality of students. According to him the function will generate a spirit of healthy competition among the participants coming from various colleges of different states.
