NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The first regional auditions of fbb Femina Miss India 2015 witnessed an exhilarating response from the City beautiful with over 100 girls appearing for the audition at Hotel Park Plaza. The city had a great pool of talent to offer, making the selection process tougher for the eminent judges from different walks of life.

The well deserving shortlisted girls who presented a fine display of charm, poise and determination will now be fastracked to the final round of auditions in Mumbai. Chandigarh falls in the North Zone of the selection process of the pageant.This year Miss India Organization takes a pledge towards a cleaner India by volunteering for the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’.

To ensure national representation of contestants and to encourage participation from all across India, the selection process has been divided into city auditions, regional auditions and city pageants. There are 13 city auditions, 3 regional auditions and 2 city pageants. This all will culminate into the final round of auditions in Mumbai.

Miss India Organization has not only lived up to its reputation of producing veterans but also has gone on to become a platform for launching young talent into the Indian Glamour Industry. The Grandeur of Miss India pageant is such that one doesn’t necessarily need to be a winner to become famous. The likes of Juhi Chawla, Simran Kaur Mundi, Gul Panag, Vanya Mishra, Navneet Kaur Dhillon and many more testify the above. Not just films and television, these names are also the face of many major lifestyle, fashion and luxury brands in our country.
