CII Green Buildtech concludes on a high note

New Launches attract visitors

NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The two day CII Green Buildtech Conference & Display, co organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and  Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)  concluded on a high note with an overwhelming response at the CII NR Headquarters in sector 31 A, here today.

“Through the deliberations during the conclave, a lot of best practices have been shared aggressively to draw a regional roadmap amongst the key stakeholders who participated during the two days which included the Architects, Town Planners, Builders, Developers, Civil Engineers, Contractors, Interior Designers, Project Management Consultants etc”, shared Mr Pikender Pal Singh, Regional Director, CII NR.

“CII is confident that  CII Green Buildtech would act as a catalyst in bringing about the green building revolution across the region as it showcased and promoted new launches in eco-friendly construction processes & innovations, energy efficient building materials, best green building practices, and advanced ways to use non-conventional sources of energy, with negligible carbon footprints”, he added.

A lot of visitors were attracted to learn about the characteristics of various new launches at the show. One of the most unique launches which enthused a lot of visitors included ‘Green Elevators’, especially for residential purposes. Brought by Kone Elevator India Pvt Ltd, a Finland based Company, these elevators take 50 % lesser space, save upto 70 % of power bills with very negligible carbon footprints as it is based on Gearless technology. Its other unique features are Vastu based design, automatic standby mode, and a combination of Stainless steel and matt coating finish body.

IEE GMV, an Italian company has also launched home elevators which require just 1/10th of the space required by normal traditional lifts. It doesn’t even require a machine tool room and would save upto 70 % of electricity as its unique technology doesn’t use electricity while the lift comes down.

Hundreds of visitors were also excited about the new launches in various product categories like heat absorbing, waterproof and eco-friendly wall, terrace, ceiling and floor tiles based on PCM technology which keeps surface always cool. Fenesta’s newly launched noise proof windows and door insulations have been another major attraction. These specially crafted UPVC windows let the sunlight in and at the same time reduce air conditioning costs by 30 % as it doesn’t let heat in.

Other new launches from which the visitors benefitted tremendously included latest energy efficient innovations and advancements in the product categories like Car Operating Panel, Elevator Wall Samples, Smart Steel Buildings, Fibre Cement Boards, Stone Cladding, Rockwool Insulation, Puf, Prefab Panels, Ceramics & Tiles Hollow Block, concrete bricks, Readymix Concrete and many more.
