NewZNew (Chandigarh) : With an objective to help the industry to understand the qualities of an effective & efficient leader, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chandigarh Council organized a workshop on Advanced Managerial Skills at its Northern Region Headquarters in sector 31 A, here today.
The training programme was conducted by Mr Tapas Dasmohapatra, a motivational speaker and a corporate trainer. The workshop laid emphasis on self-assessment, thought provoking exercises and a better future direction through various visualization and training techniques.
Mr Dasmohapatra emphasized the use of simple and effective words, especially in the business communication. He also said that a person’s energy should be harnessed for constructive purposes, which would create a positive outlook and persona. He highlighted that in the current scenario, the success of the organization lies not only in its relations with its customers but internally with its employees. He also talked about the aspects of attitude and further added that skills are not enough, it’s the attitude of a person that makes the difference in his and his/her relations with the team and vice versa.
