The launch was marked by a cause as the dealers carried out a Swachhata Abhiyan (cleanliness drive) in the market and also announced that all distributors will be contributing on every sellout of the model towards Child Rights and You (CRY), a non-profit organization in India that aims to restore children’s rights in India.
Lumia 535 is the first Microsoft phone with its own OS of Windows 8.1.The phone is launched on the concept of 5 ka dum which stands for 5 MP front camera, 5 Inch screen, 5 MP rear camera. The other exciting features of the model are flash with HD,1 GB RAM, 1.2 quad core processor and battery backup 0f 13 Hours in 3G & 11 Hours in 2G and it weighs only 147gms.The best buy price is Rs.9499.
The launch in city’s popular mobile market was unique and different as Sector 22 markets were cleaned up under the drive, which included Microsoft Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Brijesh Dubey, Sales Manager Mr. Mohit Kapur & the entire Microsoft team, which showed responsibility towards the society.
The president of mobile association Mr.Vivek Nijhawan said that this launch has boosted their outlet sale. According to him this model is flagship in mid segment.
Mr. Sandeep Singh owner of Microsoft Priority Store said that this will boost the category sale & will also fill the range gap. The distributor Mr. Girish Bhayana said that his 6 years association with the brand will strengthen further with this kind of launches, which give customer a value for money.
Key retailer Mr. Anmol said the dealers got its supplies three days back and till date the brand has sold 900 handsets of this model in the city and it is projected that they will manage to sell 5000 handsets in this month.
