NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : As part of Independence day celebration , Rotaract Club of Mohali organised a cloth donation drive Rotaract Mohali Club President Raspreet Singh quoted “With the focus of Rotaract on bringing a change to the world, this drive was organised in the region. This project was planned a week before and I am glad to share that with the support of our fellow 50 rotractors & rotarians we were able to collect almost 20 cartons of clothes which included clothes for kids & adult, men & women. “
“Rotaract clubs worldwide are using their energy, experience, and education to address issues that are important to them and the world. While the main motive of Rotary & Rotaract for India is to make India a 100% literate country by 2020, we also focus on celebrating the National Days of importance by conduting activities & events across the nation” he added.
Rotaract, the youth arm of Rotary, is a club for adults ages 18-30 that meets twice a month to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects, and socialize with one another with an objective to bring a change to the world.
