NewZNew (Panchkula) : St Soldier’s School, Sec 16, Panchkula, acquainted students of Kindergarten with Family Values to coincide with International Family Day, in a novel way. The vibrant Culture of Rajasthan was showcased as part of an extravaganza ‘Padharo Mahare Des’. “An event was organised by inviting Kindergarten students and their mothers. This was an initiative of the school towards experiential learning to tiny tots. Not only did the children learn about the rich Rajasthani culture, they were also told about family values & importance of a ‘mother’ by engaging their moms in the event.” Said Renu Diwan, Principal, St. Soldier’s School, Panchkula.
Mothers came attired in Rajasthani dresses. The venue of the event was colourfully decorated in traditional Rajasthani style. Both the mothers and the students participated enthusiastically. Children performed a small skit on the importance of family values. The highlight of the event was a scintillating dance performance by mothers. The moms also did a ramp walk. The traditionally dressed Moms presented an impressive show.
