Punjab State Legal Services Authority, S.A.S. Nagar, today under the guidelines of the tree plantation campaign which is to start from 5th June and continue till 5th July, was formally launched by Shri B.B.S. Teji, Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge-Co-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Barnala.
Along with this, today, the Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge and Shri Madan Lal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Barnala celebrated World Environment Day by distributing saplings to the general public, lawyers and Legal Aid Defense Counsels. On this occasion, the Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge and Co-Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Barnala made people aware about the importance of planting saplings and appealed to plant maximum saplings.

During this series, Shri Madan Lal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Barnala also planted saplings today in collaboration with the Forest Department, Barnala. On this occasion, Miss Loveleen Kaur, Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel Barnala, Mr. Gagandeep Bhardwaj, District Attorney and all the judges were present.
