NewZNew (Bathinda) : Eight final year students of Government Polytechnic College Bathinda have been placed with Multi National Company Motherson Sumi Systems Limited for its plant at Sharjah (Dubai).
Distributing appointment letters to the selected students, principal Yadwinder Singh congratulated them and asked them to work with dedication. The company would give free food, lodging, transportation and air ticket. During training period it would also give stipend of Rs 10000 to the students and will bear expenses of their visa fees and passports.
He added it was a matter of pride for the college that its students have got international exposure. He said that the college paid attention towards the students’ studies as well as placements. In the month of March, a college level placement fair was also being held so that students could be provided good job before passing out diploma courses.
The training and placement officer Prof Manjit Singh Bhullar stated that the company has selected ECE students Sheetal, Mandeep Kaur, Sukhpreet Kaur, computer engineering students Gurpreet Kaur, Hemavat and electrical engineering students Birdevinder Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur and Praveen Rani will work at the Noida plant of company before flying off to Sharjah.
