NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The enamouring aromas of South Indian delicacies filled the air as the latest edition of Elante Wednesday’s, the monthly engagement platform for women offered by Elante Mall, hosted a gastronomical delight for South Indian food lovers.
The ‘Southern Sojourn’, a cookery workshop on traditional South Indian delicacies, was conducted today at Elante Mall by tricity’s favourite chef Kandla Nijhowne and Chef Vinod, Head Chef for South Indian food at Sindhi Sweets, who shared traditional recipes of various South Indian dishes sprinkled with their personal touches developed over the years. They shared recipes for sumptuous delicacies like poha, sambhar, dosa, nariyal chutney and uttapam. They explained in detail the right way of preparing these dishes to the participants, who eagerly picked up the finer points shared by the experts, Elante Mall saw more than 80 participants learn the secrets of making authentic South Indian delicacies.
