Fanning will co-star with Stellan Skarsgård and Renate Reinsve in Joachim Trier’s upcoming comedy-drama “Sentimental Value.” The film, which was written by Trier and Eskil Vogt, will show a family in Oslo, the home they have occupied for many generations, and how their past has repeatedly come up in unexpected ways. The narrative centers on actress Nora and her sister Agnes as they deal with their mother’s passing.

3. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (November 20, 2026)
Billy Ray’s adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ eponymous novel, “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,” is currently in production under the direction of Francis Lawrence. Twenty-four years prior to the events of The Hunger Games, it takes place in the Panem universe. It begins on the morning of the Second Quarter Quell, also known as the 50th Hunger Games. The narrative revolves around 16-year-old Haymitch, a resourceful and intelligent boy from District 12, who is unpredictably selected for this deadly version of the games, which has twice as many tributes and sends 48 kids into the arena to compete for their lives.

Effie Trinket, portrayed by Fanning, was portrayed by Elizabeth Banks in the previous films.
