NewZNew (Panchkula) : With a view to express their gratitude towards the defence forces for being the “true saviors of the Nation”, preschoolers from Eurokids, Sector 9, Panchkula today celebrated Rakhi with Army jawans on the school campus.

Many of the children dressed in Army uniforms, welcomed the invited jawans with ‘tilak’ and garlands and tied rakhi on their wrists. The visibly overjoyed Army jawans, most of whom live away from their families, reciprocated the gesture by showering their blessings on the children.

Later, the children showcased their patriotic fervor by performing on patriotic and traditional Indian songs to mark the day.
