FICCI Holds B2B Meetings to Promote Global Business Expansion through UAE: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in partnership with the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), Government of Sharjah, UAE, successfully organized a series of focused B2B meetings in Chandigarh aimed at enabling Indian enterprises to expand their footprint in international markets through the UAE
The meetings provided participants with valuable insights into trade and investment opportunities across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Russia. Experts also highlighted the benefits of the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which allows nearly 97% of goods to enjoy duty-free access, thereby creating immense export potential for Indian businesses.
Delegates were briefed on strategies to leverage the UAE’s ecosystem for scaling operations, expanding exports, and strengthening cross-border collaborations. The sessions underlined the advantages of operating from SAIF Zone, known as one of the region’s most competitive and investor-friendly free zones.
The initiative drew strong participation from enterprises in Chandigarh eager to explore new markets and enhance their global presence. The interactive format allowed local businesses to gain first-hand knowledge of global expansion opportunities and practical guidance on international trade facilitation.
