City based designers Nitin and Shweta Khanna opened their fourth flagship store in Elante Mall, Chandigarh. The store will house, Designer’s Couture pieces, latest Diffusion line, and all bridal wear including lehengas, kalidars, lighter line of color-blocked tunics with pants, cape tunics, sherwani jackets, ghagras and sharara pants for women.
One of the most loved fashion labels of the region Flaunt couture was founded in 2012 with launch of their first store in mohali. It is best known for their bridal wear and styling and have time & again proved their unique artisan and embroidery skills. These Collections are a perfect blend of traditional Indian silhouettes with contemporary designs on a variety of fabrics such as satins, georgettes, silk and chiffons. The collection covers all aspects of an Indian wedding wardrobe for the bride as well as her family. With an option of getting the outfits custom designed, there are ensembles available for all occasions – mehendi, sangeet, various pujas and but of course the wedding and the reception. The collection reflects designer’s passion for Indian craftsmanship.
Shweta Khanna stated that wearing a traditional outfit like lehnga would be perfect for wedding day while choosing an indowestern outfit during the engagement and kalidar for sangeet or mehndi would be ideal. Wearing a floor lenghth traditional gown for the reception would make u look perfectly gorgeous, they also mentioned the must have clothes in a womens closet which should never be missed out.
Their choice of fabric and colour is very stylish. Fabrics remain soft and strong with crepe, silk, tulle and lace mixing with androgynous silhouettes and feminine styles.
