Around 140 Students donate blood at GGI during Blood Donation Camp

NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Gulzar Group of Institutes   organized Blood Donation Camp at its campus Institutes   in association with Blood Bank from Civil Hospital Ludhiana .As many as 140 students of the Institute including Faculty and staff members donated the blood. The camp was inaugurated by the chairman GGI  Gurcharan Singh.

Chairman Gurcharan Singh complimented the staff and the students for this noble social cause. He appreciated the enthusiasm among the students, who donated the blood. According to him there was hardly any other service to humanity as noble and virtuous as the donation of blood.  He further added that the purpose of the camp was to create awareness on importance of blood donation in view of its demand.

Gurkirat Singh Executive Director GGI urged that if we could motivate people, they will also come forward to donate blood. He  further  told that the aim behind organizing this Blood Donation camp was to drive the message home to the youth, that blood donation improves the health of the heart, enhances the production of new blood cells, burns calories, saves lives and brings joy to many. At the end  he thanked Teams from Civil Hospital Ludhiana and Blood Sewa Social welfare Society.
