NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Function today in the school premises. The chief guest of the day was Director Public Instructions (S), Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar. Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager of the Bank of India and other dignitaries from the Education Department, Principals of various school graced the occasion.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the school flag and salute to the march past troops. Students showcased their talent through their performances in various dances. Qwali and orchestra stole the lime light. Gatka, Gidda and Bhangra show casing the flavor of Punjab were a thrilling visual treat.

The honourable chief guest gave away the prizes to the students who brought laurels to the school in various fields. In his speech the DPI Schools applauded the efforts and appreciated the cultural programme.
