Gujarat University Allotment for B.A. courses published at gujaratuniversity.ac.in

Gujarat University has published the final allotment Round 1 for B.A courses. The applicants can check allotment result after logging into the University website eform.gujaratuniversity.ac.in.

Gujarat University will declare the final merit list, titled as “first allotment” today at 5 pm for admission to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) courses. As per the University, this will be the final B.A. allotment result for admitting students to this year’s course. There are total 14 thousand in 40 Arts colleges affiliated to Gujarat University, while only 10,498 students have registered in the first round. The students can check Gujarat University allotment status from the University portal gujaratuniversity.ac.in.

Gujarat University had opened the online registration and choice filling facility on 6th June, while the applicants had to get their documents verified up to 14th June. The provisional merit list for B.A colleges was published on 18th June, followed by the final merit list on 22nd June. As per the initial notified schedule, Gujarat University had to publish the final allotment list on 25th June (Sunday), but the same will be done today.

For securing admission to the allotted college, the candidates will have to report to the respective college/ institution for document verification. For verification, the candidates will have to produce the allotment/information letter, receipt of fee, all original documents and testimonials on or before 29th June. The candidates can also participate in the further rounds of counselling if he/ she has given option for the same during registration. In case, the candidate fails to report to the allotted institute with these documents, the admission offered to him/ her will be cancelled.

The seat allotment is to be made on the basis of marks in qualifying examination (Class 12) only. The candidates can check the allotment status after login on the admission site. The candidate who has got the admission will have to take the printout of provisional admission letter and fees receipt. The link to get the print out will be available in the login window of candidates. The candidates who will not be allotted a seat will not be shown any such link and the allotted Institute name in the login window will be shown as blank.

The candidate who has got admission need to pay fees and report at the allotted college within the specified time period to confirm their seat. Failure or lapse to complete the mentioned procedure shall result in the cancellation of admission. The fee can be deposited at HDFC Bank Counters at respective colleges. Also, the reporting and verification of original documents/ certificates/ testimonials/ receipt of paid fee at colleges will remain open up to June 29.

After the first round, if a candidate does not get admission in their preferred college then he/she can participate in Reshuffling Round by logging into the website. The re-shuffling round will begin from June 30, while the University will open fresh registration for second round from July 4.
