NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Indo Global celebrated the 12th Annual day titled Mosaic 2015.The theme of annual was Unity in Diversity. After the traditional lighting of the lamp, the students took over the stage to conduct the program. Anchoring was done by a team of bright young boys and girls coming in couplets and adding lot of fun and merriment to each item that was presented. There were many skits, drama and musical programs followed by dance from various parts of the country exhibiting the diverse cultures of our country.
Students from Himachal presented Nati the traditional Himachali dance depicting the culture and tradition of Himachal. It was a treat to watch the young budding youth of Assam boys and girls showcasing the Bihu dance synchronized with Bihu music. Students from Sikkim performed the famous Lepcha Folk dance , known as the Dance of the Swans. The highlight of the dance program however was Bhangra, the vibrant traditional folk dance of Punjab by the Punjabi students dancing to the pulsating bhangra music.
Chairman of Indo Global Colleges Sukhdev Kumar Singla while honoring the students who had won various competitions as well as for overall academic excellence said that the dazzling performance by the students on stage truly took him on a Bharat Darshan through Discovery of India journey. The function ended with the singing of national anthem.
