Customers can get updated information about new IIL products. All the information like product’s type, category, features, packing, dosage, insect/weed/disease covered is now readily available with them for 24 hrs.
“Technology can truly transform the face of the rural heartland. Mobile telephony can not only connect people but also reduce distances between individuals and institutions. The mobile phone is no longer just a medium of audio communication but is capable of providing additional integrated functions. Given the fact that the reach of mobile phones has penetrated far and wide, we thought this would be a very good idea to reach out to our customers and farmers in remote areas,” says Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director, Insecticides (India) Limited.
“IIL works on multiple levels to help farmers improve their productivity and yields. Our newly created mobile app is another initiative where we have tried to offer our services to help farmers via technology. IIL looks forward to witness an advanced India where farmers are prosperous and are able to enjoy the fruits of their labor with right guidance and help,” adds Mr Rajesh Aggarwal.
